After his parents' marriage, the father discovered that his wife suffers from a chronic mental illness. The couple divorced after 6 months of marriage, and the wife was pregnant with the child Shenouda.The wife lived with her family until she gave birth; Shenouda was not accepted by either family, so each family tried to get rid of him. He grew up torn between the two families, deprived of comfort, love, and acceptance.

Due to the mother's mental illness, along with her physical illness, the father was forced to keep Shenouda. Because the father did not accept Shenouda working long hours, sometimes traveling frequently because he worked as a daily laborer, and due to his family's and his wife's family's refusal to care for the child, he left him with his neighbor to raise and care for him.The neighbor did not care for Shenouda; he was mostly abandoned in the street and his psychological and physical needs were not met.

When Shenouda came to The Child friend's house, he was very aggressive, very stubborn, unwilling to adhere to any system or instructions, rebellious, and used foul language. 

Officials took care of Shenouda, and we see a great improvement in his ethics and his sense of love and security. He began gaining confidence in himself.We enlisted specialists to modify his behavior and teach him the basics of right and wrong to start a balanced and correct life. Shenouda is an intelligent child with many talents.We enrolled Shenouda in first grade at school to start with this academic year in September 2024.
